Where your holiday is all about horses
The Località LOCHERE is a hamlet in the Caldonazzo Municipality, with a beautiful lake, and equally close (2 km)
to Lake Levico, a well-known thermal centre that specialises
in dermatological cures, and whose baths are also used to treat various
allergies. And also don't forget that very close by there is Lake
S. Cristoforo and the town of Pergine, with its famous
Castle. Trento, the province's capital, is just 18 km away.
It is in Località Lochere, where the valley opens up altogether, that you will find Hotel Paoli, and the "Alla Vedova" restaurant.
The Hotel Paoli, with a tradition that goes way back, has 28 rooms in all -
singles, doubles, and triples. All have full bathrooms with bath or
shower. The hotel, which has been completely renovated
offers its guests pleasing, well furnished rooms.
Naturally, telephones and satellite television
are part of this attractive furnishing. The
ground floor has numerous spacious rooms, some of which are used for the restaurant with seating for 600. All of this allows the Hotel to be at its best when preparing various types of celebrations, specific occasions, weddings, social dinners, and so on.
Other rooms are also available to the hotel guests, with a comfortable hall, a really peaceful place for reading or
watching television with others. We wish to remind you about the
brand new, spacious, fully equipped Nestor's Gym,
where, between horseback riding and walking, everyone can
keep and improve their shape. Being so close
to two lakes, guests are able to go surfing, sailing, swimming, or canoeing, or go in the "dragon boat". For those that are not that crazy about water, there are ideal walks towards Mount Vezzena, the popularity of which may be due to the fact that it is a mountain or the fact that, in its mountain dairies, the famous Vezzena cheese is made. Many trails follow the ancient paths that were the scene of the First World War. And let's not forget the trekking and mountain biking, with bikes on hire from the hotel as well. In this regard, there are beautiful trails especially created for mountain biking, and by request, should you so wish, we can send you all the support material made available by the tourist board, to take care of our guests. In the vicinity there are also numerous equally famous mountains, like Panarotta, that is an important skiing centre in winter. There is ample parking, a playground, garden, and terrace, where you can enjoy the sun in complete peace. In addition, since it is able to seat up to 600 people, the hotel is suitable for celebrating any kind of event, from weddings to social dinners and convivial banquets. There is a meeting and convention room and a tavern for evening entertainment. There will certainly be no shortage of entertainment! In this regard, we wish to remind you about two special events for those who love cooking and for merry-makers! In May the culinary offer centres on locally grown asparagus, prepared and served in all the special ways. In Autumn, there are the famous "Torgele" evenings for celebrating new wine with chestnuts.
To round off what this hotel has to offer tourists, there is the surprise of an equestrian centre.
Presentation
The "Alla Vedova" equestrian centre is located in Caldonazzo (TN). It can be reached in a few minutes from the Valsugana state road 47. This centre is immersed in lush greenery and surrounded by apple trees in bloom. 2 paddocks, a show jumping arena, 40 very comfortable stables, 15 outside fenced areas, ample parking, saddlery, and meeting room, are just some of the facilities that this centre can boast, in order to guarantee its clients and the horses all types of comfort and service.
The horse-riding school is one of the centre's major activities and is looked after technically and professionally by an instructor. Outrides of one or two hours at a time are organised with levels of difficulty that vary to suit those taking part. Once a week there is the "Hack around the Lake" that lasts about 4 hours. In Spring, Summer, and Autumn, trekking is king, and the scene includes excursions into the mountains lasting one or two days, with stop-overs at the Trentino alpine huts.
